Ghost Bikes are white painted bikes placed as memorials in remembrance of a cyclists killed at the spot. This is located at a 5 way intersection with I-294 overhead. This location see on average 250,000 vehicles per day. This has been there for a few years and this is from the first time I photographed it. The paint was old but he flowers were recently freshened.

This ghost bike has recently had new artificial flowers applied. Because this location see tens of thousands of cars per day the bike and decorations take significant wear. It is refreshed from time to time.
